Covid-protocols in place — until further notice
Updated May, 2021: Keeping up with the latest information — regarding masks, mandates vs. recommendations, restrictions vs. re-opening, etc — can get pretty confusing these days. My bottom line is this:
WA State mandates continue to require masks for healthcare providers and their patients. (That’s us.) I will be following those state mandates in my practice.
- Masks are (still) required — regardless of vaccination status (yours or mine). Please wear an appropriate cloth or surgical mask when entering the waiting area, while in my office, and throughout the duration of the session. (I can provide one if you need one.)
- Temperature check upon arrival (required by law in healthcare settings).
- Pre-screening questionnaire prior to each session: Covid-19 Pre-screen (PDF)
- Enhanced sanitation & procedures in place: Covid-19 Policies (PDF)
I will have these documents available to read (or fill out) prior to each session.
While I will not ask for proof of vaccination, I may inquire about it — and I ask your honesty when discussing vaccination status and virus exposure. I will be transparent about mine. Additionally, I do recommend everyone get vaccinated against Covid-19 (unless you have a valid medical exemption) as soon as possible.
